## Position Overview: Junior Operator
We are currently inviting applications for the position of Junior Operator based in Cilamaya, Karawang. This role is essential to our Operations Department, where you will be tasked with the frontline management and monitoring of our sophisticated gas turbine combined cycle systems. We are looking for individuals who are not only technically proficient but also passionate about contributing to the long-term reliability and performance of a world-class power plant.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Operator, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient functioning of our facility. Your primary duties will include:
* System Monitoring: Operating and overseeing Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCCP) systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Operational Execution: Managing the systematic start-up, shutdown, and real-time regulation of plant equipment.
* Routine Maintenance & Reporting: Conducting regular site inspections, documenting operational data, and reporting any technical abnormalities immediately.
* Technical Compliance: Interpreting complex technical documentation, including P&IDs, logic diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Chemical & Safety Oversight: Supporting chemical system monitoring, water treatment processes, and waste management, all while adhering to strict safety and environmental protocols.
* Team Collaboration: Facilitating seamless shift handovers and maintaining clear communication with the broader technical team.
## Qualifications and Requirements

1. Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations, ideally within a power plant or heavy industry. Note: High-performing fresh graduates with exceptional technical knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
3. Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of CCP operations, power plant terminology, water chemistry, and the ability to analyze P&ID drawings.
4. Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective written and spoken English communication skills.
