## Core Responsibilities
The selected candidate will play a frontline role in risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. Daily duties and operational expectations include:
* Risk Assessment & Documentation: Formulate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessment (TRA) documents prior to the commencement of any operational tasks.
* Equipment Compliance: Perform thorough inspections of work machinery and tools, ensuring that all operator certifications and equipment licenses remain valid.
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Enforce strict compliance regarding the mandatory use of proper, certified PPE across all personnel on-site.
* Permit Management: Prepare, submit, and successfully close out Permit to Work (PTW) documentation in alignment with project timelines.
* Hazard Detection & Monitoring: Conduct precise Hydrogen Sulfide ($\text{H}_2\text{S}$) gas measurements prior to initiating work activities in designated zones.
* Safety Briefings & Leadership: Lead comprehensive Pre-Job Safety (PJS) meetings to brief teams on potential hazards and mitigation strategies.
* Operational Oversight: Actively supervise fieldwork to guarantee strict adherence to corporate and industry HSE standards.
* Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all field HSE activities and compile detailed performance reports for management review.
* Training & Development: Facilitate ongoing HSE awareness programs and targeted safety training sessions for field operatives.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this critical safety role, applicants must meet the following professional and certification criteria:
* Documentary Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in drafting accurate JSA and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) documents.
Specialized Training: Must have completed Surat Izin Kerja Aman* (SIKA) training.
* Permit Systems Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in developing and managing Pertamina PTW systems.
* Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience working as a Safety Officer within the oil and gas sector, with specific exposure to oil well operations.
* Technical Competency: Proven ability to accurately conduct and interpret $\text{H}_2\text{S}$ gas measurements.
* Mandatory Credentials: Possession of a valid Oil & Gas HSE Certification is strictly required.
* Preferred Background: Direct, hands-on experience working within Pertamina Geothermal Energy projects will serve as a distinct competitive advantage.
