## Understanding the Junior Operator Position
The Junior Operator (JO) plays a vital role in maintaining the continuous, safe, and reliable generation of electricity. Working directly under the supervision of the Unit Controller and Shift Leader, the successful candidate will manage complex combined cycle power (CCP) station systems and equipment within strict operational guidelines.
Core Responsibilities
* Ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient daily operation of gas turbine combined cycle power station systems.
* Adhering strictly to established operational protocols and safety guidelines under shift leadership direction.
* Interpreting technical documentation, including logic diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
* Applying knowledge of water chemistry, fundamental electrical and mechanical drawings, and standard power plant terminology.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

Educational and Experience Prerequisites
* Hold a Diploma (D3) or a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, or Chemical Engineering.
