## Job Vacancy Overview: Electrical Technician
PTC is actively seeking a dedicated and competent Electrical Technician to join its dynamic workforce. This position plays an indispensable role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical infrastructure within designated refinery areas.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The selected candidate will undertake several critical operational tasks to maintain seamless facility performance:
* Execute comprehensive commissioning, start-up, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures for diverse electrical systems and equipment within refinery zones.
* Conduct rigorous physical and functional assessments of motors, control panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, transformers, cabling, lighting arrays, grounding networks, and associated electrical apparatus.
* Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance activities in strict accordance with assigned work orders, structured maintenance plans, and standardized work instructions.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions rapidly, accurately, and with an unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
* Identify operational abnormalities through detailed inspections and provide actionable, professional recommendations for remediation to supervising engineers.
* Interpret and utilize technical blueprints, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), complex wiring schematics, electrical drawings, and supplementary technical documentation.
* Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Permit to Work protocols, Job Safety Analyses (JSA/JHA), and all Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) regulations.
* Maintain meticulous records and document task outcomes, anomaly findings, diagnostic steps, and asset operational statuses.
Essential Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this technical role, applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
* Indonesian Citizenship (WNI).
* Minimum educational attainment of a senior high school diploma (SMA) or vocational technical high school degree (SMK).
* At least three (3) years of hands-on professional experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
* Demonstrated capability in performing coupling and uncoupling procedures for electric motor gearboxes.
* Proficiency in operating specialized electrical measurement and testing instruments.
