Based in the Greenland International Industry Center (GIIC), Cikarang, we are industry leaders in the manufacturing of high-quality excavator attachments, including the renowned Taguchi brand. Operating from a expansive 7,000-square-meter facility, our production floor covers 3,550 square meters of cutting-edge manufacturing space. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our growing team in Bekasi, West Java.
## Role Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer, you will serve as a vital link between operational efficiency and quality excellence. Your primary duties include:
* Production Planning: Developing comprehensive production schedules and machine maintenance programs to ensure seamless operations.
* Performance Monitoring: Overseeing and evaluating daily production workflows to meet stringent organizational targets.
* Operational Optimization: Analyzing productivity and efficiency metrics to propose and implement performance improvement initiatives.
* Standardization: Drafting, reviewing, and updating Work Instructions (WI) and production process parameters.
* Technical Problem Solving: Utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and rectify production bottlenecks and equipment issues.
* Compliance Management: Ensuring that all manufacturing activities strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality benchmarks, and internal company regulations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating with various departments to support production stability and proactive equipment maintenance.
## Required Qualifications
We are looking for a professional who combines technical expertise with a proactive mindset. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Background: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience as a Production Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
3. Quality Systems: Solid understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
4. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience in applying methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or similar improvement frameworks.
5. Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, production machinery, and the fundamental principles of industrial maintenance.
6. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, conduct root cause investigations, and deliver actionable improvement recommendations.
7. Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a specific focus on Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
8. Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a high-performing team.
