The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuala Lumpur (KBRI Kuala Lumpur) serves as the primary diplomatic mission representing Indonesian interests in Malaysia. As a central hub supporting the vast Indonesian migrant community, the Embassy operates in coordination with various consulates, including those in Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Penang, and Tawau. To maintain its high standard of service, the Embassy is currently seeking dedicated professionals to join its team as Local Staff.
## Available Positions and Vacancies
In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2025, the Embassy is inviting qualified candidates to apply for full-time positions. The successful candidates will be employed under a two-year contract, which is eligible for renewal.
The following positions are currently open for the 2026 Fiscal Year (Announcement Number: 023/SELEKSI-CPS/KP/01/2026):
* Clerical Staff (Code: A): 3 positions available.
* Non-Clerical Staff / Driver (Code: B): 1 position available.
* Non-Clerical Staff / Security Officer (Code: C): 2 positions available.
## Candidate Requirements
All applicants must meet the following general and specific criteria:
* Citizenship: Applicants must be Indonesian citizens holding a valid Malaysian permanent residency permit or citizens of Malaysia.
* Age: Must be at least 22 years old and no older than 45 years as of April 1, 2026.
* Health: Must be physically and mentally fit, with a clean bill of health regarding narcotics and illicit substances, verified by a clinic or medical practitioner.
* Educational Qualifications:
* For Clerical Staff (Code A): Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) or equivalent.
* For Non-Clerical Staff (Codes B and C): Minimum High School diploma (SMA) or equivalent.
* Technical Skills:
* Clerical applicants must demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English and Microsoft Office.
* Driver applicants must possess a valid Malaysian driver’s license.
* Professional Integrity: Candidates must be honest, committed, capable of working in teams, maintain strict confidentiality, and be available for duty outside standard working hours when required.
* Compliance: Applicants must have no criminal record or ongoing legal cases in any jurisdiction and must not be affiliated with any political party.
